Beetroot and Goat’s Cheese Tarts

Simple yet sophisticated. These tarts are quick and easy to prepare but look great and taste even better.
Prep time: 30 minutes
Cook time: 30 minutes
Makes: 8 servings

Ingredients

Frozen puff pastry | 2 sheets
Egg yolk | 1
Cold water | 2 tsp
Dodo’s Delights Beetroot Relish | ½ Jar
Goat’s Cheese | 150g
Baby Rocket | 70g
Chopped, toasted walnuts | 1/3 cup

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 200C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.

Step 2

Cut each pastry sheet into quarters and place onto tray.

Step 3

Combine egg yolk and water, brush pastry.

Step 4

Bake until puffy and golden, approx. 10 minutes.

Step 5

Remove pastry squares from oven. Press centre of each lightly to form an indent
