Lemon Butter and Custard Tart
Dodo’s Delight’s Lemon Butter is the perfect balance of sweet and tangy. Added to a custard tart it creates a dessert you’ll keep coming back to.

Step by Step Instructions
Preheat oven to 150C.
Bring the milk and cream to a simmer in a heavy based saucepan.
In a heatproof bowl, whisk the sugar and egg yolks together.
Add the hot cream mixture to the bowl and whisk until combined.
Strain custard mixture through a fine sieve.
Spread Dodo’s Delights Lemon Butter evenly over the base of the flan.
Pour custard mixture carefully into flan.
Bake for 45 minutes or until set.
Set aside for 10 minutes to cool before placing in fridge for 1.5 hours.
Serve with extra cream.
